Daniela serves as a Tax & Accounting Coordinator at The DeMinno CPA Firm, PC, where she assists in preparing, processing, and reviewing tax returns to ensure the proper application of accounting principles, including federal and state income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax filings. She prepares journal entries and supports financial analyses and account reconciliations for monthly and quarterly accounting clients. Daniela also investigates and responds promptly and efficiently to inquiries from Federal and State tax agencies. She takes pride in providing high-quality service to clients and values the firm’s professional yet collegial work environment. Highly motivated and eager to learn, Daniela appreciates the ever-evolving nature of the financial and investment industry and the continuous opportunities it provides for professional growth.
Daniela is a graduate of Dominican University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting. During her studies, she was named to the Dean’s List and received multiple awards for academic achievement. She later earned her MBA with a concentration in finance from St. Thomas Aquinas College. Daniela is currently studying for her CPA designation and plans to obtain certification in the near future. She has several years of experience in the accounting industry and has been a valued team member at The DeMinno CPA Firm throughout her career.
Daniela resides in Valley Cottage, New York, with her husband, Phil, and their five fur babies. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors in search of new and exciting destinations. Her favorite activities include cooking, reading, exercising, and attending football games to cheer on the New York Jets. In addition, Daniela volunteers her time working with children and mentoring entry-level accounting students, both of which bring her a great sense of fulfillment and personal satisfaction.
