Emma Curran is the Accounting Coordinator at The DeMinno CPA Firm PC ensuring the accounting department operates efficiently. Her role demands exceptional organization as she manages and oversees Quickbooks account reconciliation and financial reporting for clients. She maintains records, prepares financial reports and ensures all work is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with company, state and federal financial regulations. Emma ensures the clients’ needs are met with patience, attentiveness, clear communication, knowledge and a sense of urgency. She combines her proficiency in spreadsheet and database software and her strong work ethic to provide a high level of customer service.
A part of the team at The DeMinno CPA Firm since 2012, Emma held various positions in accounting and taxation, including working as the Operations Manager at the Expo Design Center. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fordham University and has worked in the financial services industry for more than thirty years. Born and raised in the Bronx, Emma currently resides with her husband in Warwick, NY, a center of cultural and recreational events. She is a member of the Finance Committee and a board member of Wickham Works, a non-profit community driven arts organization. She maintains life balance outside the office by enjoying her favorite activities including cooking, reading, outdoor music concerts, crafts, and spending time with her three children, their spouses and ten grandchildren.
