Marguerite serves as the Chief Operating Officer at the DeMinno CPA Firm, PC where she excels at managing a range of duties that keep the firm running efficiently. Marguerite organizes the office operations and procedures, designs filing systems, and is responsible for Human Resources. Marguerite oversees the firm’s daily operations, including keeping detailed records, maintaining accounting controls and monitoring accounts receivables.
Working directly with clients to help them achieve their financial goals brings Marguerite great satisfaction and clients appreciate her excellent communication skills and attention to details. She builds solid relationships as she works closely with the income tax and wealth management clients to gather critical information. She assesses the financial needs of individuals, helping them plan their short-term and long-term goals such as education expenses and retirement.
Prior to joining the firm more than a decade ago, Marguerite held management positions in the corporate offices of Lillian Vernon Corporation, Bally of Switzerland, Lerner New York, and Bloomingdales by Mail. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Manhattan College.
Marguerite enjoys the community spirit and great teamwork the firm brings to its operation, a unity similar to the neighborhood where she grew up in the Bronx, NY. Marguerite and her husband have two grown children and live in West Nyack, NY with their two Maltipoos. In her free time, if she is not enjoying the beach at Long Beach Island, NJ, Marguerite loves to read and watch sports, especially the New York Yankees.
